On May 26th, South District Firefighters, with the cooperation of the Middletown Fire Department, taught 3rd grade students at Bielefield and Farm Hill Schools how to escape a fire in their home. This is the culmination of the Adopt- A-Firefighter program which takes place for all 3rd grade students. Firefighters Phil Russo and Terence Keenan were this year's adopted firefighters.
