The staff of the South Fire District is a group of professional men and women dedicated to serving the public and protecting the lives and property in it, as well as those traveling through. Our fire, rescue and emergency medical response personnel have been diversely trained to competently handle the various dynamic situations they're called to. We provide essential public fire prevention information and personal safety education for families, businesses and schools within the district.

The goal of this web site is to be an entry point for our constituents to have information on the happenings of the district, and to serve as a link to other governmental, non-profit, national, state and local safety agencies and organizations.

One of the key advantages of internet technology is speed. Using this site and email as communication tools, we can more efficiently disseminate time-sensitive information regarding safety notices, special events and weather warnings. Most importantly, we can inform our residents and business owners about when and where our meetings take place so they may actively participate in the voting process; may it be passing a new budget for the fiscal year, selecting new commissioners or other issues that need to be addressed.

Please take a moment to sign up (at left) for email notifications that can help keep you informed of important announcements and web site updates.

Lastly, please let us know your ideas on other things you would like to see on this site, since it exists to serve the residents and businesses of the South Fire District.

With Warmest Regards,

Edward Badamo
