2014 Marion Engine with
Spartan Cab and Chassis

The newest apparatus in the District's firefighting fleet, E-32 engine is a 1500 GPM pumper that carries 1000 gallons of water. The water is supplemented by Class A and Class B foam. Class A has the potential to put out 2-3 times the amount of fire compared to water only. E-32 is now the first due Engine on all SFD responses.

2016 Pierce Arrow XT105' Aerial Ladder (Quint)
This unit replaced a 1997 Pierce Lance 105' Aerial/Quint. The 2016 Pierce Arrow XT-Truck 34-has a 105' heavy duty steel ladder, 500 gallons of water with a 2000 GPM pump, class A foam system and carries 1000' of 5" hose.

This unit serves as the Departments Equipment apparatus. R-35 carries al the Departments Dive Team equipment, cold water and ice rescue equipment. The unit is equipped with multi-frequency radios, fax machine and refrigerator for firefighter rehabilitation purposes.

This all-purpose vehicle has a 70-gallon tank, 100 feet of pre-connected hose, 400 feet of forestry hose, a 65-GPM pump, and EMS and rescue equipment. The unit is capable of responding to brush fires, search and rescue missions, and EMS assignments in the roughest of terrain. The unit is housed in a trailer. The APV, trailer, and equipment were acquired through the generous donation of funds from EVERSOURCE, Pratt and Whitney, and Kleen Energy Systems.
